What Information Do We Collect?
We collect information from you when you call us, fill out a form on our website, or submit property information to us.
When you interact with our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, property address, or phone number, including mobile phone number. You may also visit our site anonymously without submitting any information.
What Do We Use Your Information For?
Any information we collect from you may be used to:
- Respond to your inquiry about buying or selling a property
- Evaluate a property you have submitted to us
- Process a transaction you have requested
- Contact you by phone, email, or text message (SMS/MMS) about your inquiry or our services, if you have opted in to receive such communications
- Send periodic emails or texts related to your inquiry, our services, or requests you have made
Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of helping us respond to your request or complete a transaction you have requested.
Text Messaging (SMS) Program
If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in — for example, by checking a consent box on one of our forms — you agree to receive text messages from Neighborhood Housing Group, LLC, sent from any of our company-owned phone numbers, related to real estate buying and selling, including property inquiries, cash offers, appointment reminders, and follow-up communications.
- No sharing of mobile opt-in data: Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent (i.e., your mobile phone number and your consent to be texted) will not be shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. This information may only be shared with subcontractors who support our text messaging service itself (for example, our SMS platform provider), and only as needed to deliver that service.
- Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us (e.g., up to 4 messages per month).
- Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opt-out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. You will receive one final confirmation message, after which you will receive no further texts unless you opt in again.
- Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us directly at larry@neighborhoodhousinggroup.org or (803) 831-2875.
- Carrier liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent to receive text messages is never required as a condition of doing business with us. For full terms, see our Terms and Conditions.
How Do We Protect Your Information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access it through our site.
Do We Disclose Any Information to Outside Parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information — including your phone number or mobile opt-in/consent data — to outside parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you (for example, our SMS platform provider or CRM), so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential and use it only to provide services to us. We may also release information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.
Non-personally identifiable visitor information (such as aggregated site usage data) may be shared with other parties for marketing, advertising, or analytics purposes. This does not include mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in/consent data, which are never shared for marketing purposes as described above.
Third-Party Links
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies, and we have no responsibility or liability for their content or activities. We welcome any feedback about these sites.
Remarketing and Cookies
Neighborhood Housing Group, LLC may use third-party vendor remarketing tracking cookies, including but not limited to the Google Ads tracking cookie, to show ads to you across the internet based on your prior visits to our site. We do not collect personally identifiable information — and never collect mobile opt-in/consent data — through these remarketing systems. Third-party vendors, including Google, may place cookies on your browser to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website; any data collected through these services is handled in accordance with this policy and the applicable third-party vendor’s own privacy policy.
California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We value your privacy and have taken the necessary precautions to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products, and services are directed to people who are at least 13 years old.
Personal, Financial, and Property Information
As a real estate services firm, we may ask you to submit contact information, property details, or in some cases financial information so we can evaluate your property or situation. This information is used solely to help us assist you and will not be shared with outside parties, except as required to complete the services you have requested from us or as required by law.
Online Privacy Policy Only
This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website, text messaging program, and related forms — not to information collected offline.
